Travel Noughts and Crosses Game

Getting away from ‘screen time’ is important but can be hard these days. Why not encourage your children to do a classic board game instead? Even if it only gives you five or ten minutes where they aren’t engrossed in their iPad, then I’d class that as a small win! Not only that, it’s great bonding time for your family to play a game together too.

Check out my free printable Noughts and Crosses Game template below. I also have a free printable Board Game Template and Cut Out Counters and Cut Out Dice for you to use as well.

This free printable noughts and crosses sheet is really useful if you need a quick family friendly game in a hurry or when travelling. You can laminate it and use dry markers on it to keep re-using it, but a transparent punch pocket works equally as well!

Playing noughts and crosses is a great rainy day game and can help to improve your child’s problem solving abilities and their concentration levels, all whilst having fun!

You could even cut out each individual grid to make a tiny pocket-sized version of the game. This is ideal for having in your wallet when waiting in a restaurant, at an airport or when on a journey as a welcome break from the ipads and screen time!
